What the app stores

Your account email and authentication details are managed by Supabase Auth. Your player profile stores your display name, optional photo and bio, entered ratings, practice preferences, training goals, and recurring availability. The app stores the center of your selected general playing area for distance matching.

What other players see

Authenticated eligible players can see your permitted player profile, general area, approximate distance, skill source labels, goals, and broad availability. They cannot read your account email, authentication identifiers, or location coordinates through player profiles. Accepted, unblocked connections can exchange private messages.

How information is used

Information supports matching, coordination, account security, and safety. Mapbox resolves playing areas. Supabase stores account and application data. Vercel hosts the application. When enabled, PostHog receives a limited set of product events, and Sentry receives scrubbed error diagnostics. Message text, profile biographies, raw location searches, and precise coordinates are excluded from these analytics events. Session replay is disabled.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, pause discovery, block other players, deactivate, or delete your account. Blocking prevents further server access and contact; it cannot recall information another person already received.

Deletion and retention

Account deletion removes your profile, photos, and related connections and conversations, including your partners’ access to those conversations. A failed cleanup leaves the account disabled until retried. Safety reports are retained for up to 90 days for review, then removed. Backup expiration follows the production provider’s configured retention; the operator must publish that schedule before launch.
